Family-Placed Obituary

Callie Mae (Sue) Murchison, age 95, of Austin, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2004. She was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church for over 50 years. Callie worked and retired from the food service industry and was the widow of Pete A. Murchison who died November 25, 1970. She is survived by her sons, Bennie Murchison of Austin and Vernon Murchison of Cedar Creek; daughters, Wanda Norris of Cedar Creek and Peggy Stewart of San Marcos; brother, Walter H. Collins of Austin; sisters, Carrie Strahan of Austin, Johnnie Hoff of San Antonio and Ruby Langley of Austin. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and 7 great-great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 17, 2004, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home . Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Interment is at Cook- Walden/Memorial Hill in Austin, Texas.
