David Houston Obituary

HOUSTON, David Everett "Bubba" David E. Houston, 70, of Austin, died Thursday, March 8th. He was born in Austin, TX on August 8, 1947, a son of the late Rev. David Robert and Goldie Mae (Kincheon) Houston. David was a proud graduated member of the Old Anderson High School class of 1965. He also was a member of Mt. Carmel Lodge and Co-Owner of Newby's Auto. Public Viewing and Flowers can be delivered to 1300 E 12th Street, Austin, TX 3 PM to 7 PM on Friday, March 16th. The Celebration of David's Life Service will be 11 AM on Saturday, March 17th at St. John Regular Baptist Association Tabernacle. Those attending his service are ask to wear his favorite colors, Black & Gold. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Go to www.alcbf.com for greater information. David had selected before his death Dr. Barry J.W. "The Shepherd" Franklin, CFSP at A Life Celebration By Franklin to fulfill his final earthly celebration with great excellence.

I love u uncle david and u was a person i always looked up two growing up u was close with my grandfather like brothers and me and my siblings never realize you wasnt are uncle but cousin u seen the hurt in us to no that and u sead i will always be yall uncle no matter what u is a legend and my biggests role model and i was always two shy to tell u that and im embarrassed and ashamed of myself of that and it hurt but im telling u now uncle and i hope that it count in ur heart up there and i admire your hard work u work harder then alot of generations and generations under you you work harder than me and I'm 28 years old so I know you are a legend and in Legend years you was three times your age 210 u was in first place in every race and thru heaven gates. R.I.P uncle david houston we love u
