Deborah McLemore Obituary

Deborah Lynn McLemore, formerly of Austin, passed away 01/03/2025 after a short, yet courageous, battle with pancreatic cancer. Deborah graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Austin, Class of 1977. She enjoyed a rewarding 40 year career with IBM, where she worked until she passed away. She is preceded in death by her father, John McLemore. She is survived by her mother and best friend, Thelma McLemore, brother Gregory (Matilde) McLemore, sister Karen (David) Craig and sister Jennifer (Frank) Ready. The loves of her life were her nieces, Megan McLemore, Cosette Craig, Haylee Adams, Eleanor Ready and Scarlet Craig, nephews, Justin McLemore, Logan McLemore, Colton Craig, Cullen Perry and Staton Perry and several great nieces and nephews. She attended all the events in their lives with pride, joy and a smile at each turn. Deb enjoyed working out and her long walks in the afternoons. She never missed a chance to engage in a passionate conversation about Jesus and her faith held her strong even to her last days on earth. Donations in Deb's honor can be made to PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org" target="_new" rel="nofollow">PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org for pancreatic cancer research. The family will have a private memorial in the spring at a family farm.
