Donna Woolcott Obituary

Who ever wrote "I've been around the world, I'm a woman, not a girl" must have been thinking of Donna Woolcott. A spirited and strong-willed woman, Donna passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on October 24, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Beloved wife of over 64 years to Bruce Woolcott, she was a devoted mother to her two sons, Roger and David, and a cherished grandmother to Chris, Daniel, and Eric Woolcott.

Donna grew up in Harrisburg, Illinois, where, as drum major, she would lead the marching band; including her future husband Bruce. They married after he returned from the Navy.

Known for her vivacious energy and 'lead foot,' Donna had a knack for getting things done, and was recently seen doing laps around the memory facility with her walker and new hip.

After graduating 1st in her Travel agent class and working with McGregor Travel in Westchester, New York, Donna went on to marketing PanAm and then Continental Airlines in Austin, Texas.

Donna Woolcott truly lived a rich and full life, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and an indomitable spirit that will forever be remembered.

A Memorial service will be held at 9300 Golf Course Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114 on January 17 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
