Hi Deborah and family of Eric,
I'm really sorry that you have lost Eric's light with us in Austin - he was so friendly, caring, and joyful to be around (Salesforce community on Saturdays). We're going to mourn him with you. We always chatted about South Africa as he had visited there and I had a trip recently that I was planning - he always made sure to ask me about it. Hugs from east Austin, Joelle Charbel

My God My God My God. I just sent him a messege about passing my test. Wondering why I didn't get a response. My feelings is hurt as beingbin this career he has been my mentor in this IT life since 2018 and became a trusted friend and confident. The smile on his face and the energy he gave when talking about his kiddos. I'm just so said to say rest in peace my friend. May God Hold you. I just want to thank you for soooooo much. Hugs and condolences to the family. But damn I'm hurt behind this one.

Eric was one of the first people I met at Salesforce Saturday, and he was a constant source of advice, encouragement and good will. Over the last couple of years we developed a friendship, and Eric was my SF bootcamp and conference buddy. We also deeply appreciated his unwavering support for veterans and military servicemembers, as he had a way of welcoming people into gatherings and groups that made him "one of us" to everyone. We will miss you, friend. Sending thoughts of peace and warmth to Eric's family and friends.

I met Eric through the Salesforce community. Very warm and welcoming person indeed. However, him sitting in my home last New Year's Eve (after his church gathering) created my fondest memories of Eric. He sat at the table and shared memories of his childhood in Brooklyn (or so my own failing memory recalls) with many other friends. It was wonderful to hear his warm memories and views on the neighborhood he grew up in. It was a side of Eric I will cherish for a long time. Well lived, brother Eric. Rest easy in heaven.

It was an honor to call Eric my friend and I'll miss him dearly. I had the pleasure of meeting Eric in the Austin tech community and would spend my Saturdays hanging out with him learning about all things Salesforce. He was always there with a huge smile to volunteer and help. As a fellow early bird we chatted over coffee about our families, where I was privileged to learn that our spouses both work for the city and how I learned all about his kids' robotics teams and college choices. My condolences to Deborah and kids, he was a truly remarkable man. God bless.
