Geri HARRINGTON Obituary
June 13, 1948 - Sept. 27, 2014
Geri Harrington, age 66, of Temple passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Hemmeline Cemetery with Father Timothy Vaverek officiating. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday evening at 6 PM followed by visitation until 8 PM at the funeral home.
Geri was born on June 13, 1948 in Mount Pleasant, NY. She was the daughter of the late John and Elvira Tucci Davis. She graduated from White Plains High School in 1966. After high school she became a very successful real-estate agent and broker in New York. After she relocated out west, she received her Associates in Nursing from Pima Community College in Tucson; AZ. Geri moved to Texas in 1991 and began her nursing career working in Austin, Taylor, Georgetown and Gatesville. She was also a fitness instructor, teaching Zumba and many other classes. Geri will be remembered for being bright, outspoken, loyal and always standing firm for what she thought was right. Geri took pride in being a wife, parent and a grandparent.
Geri is survived by her husband, Ralph Harrington; son, John Roman Harrington, daughters, Laura Menton, Emily Amberose Harrington, Lilly Nicole Harrington; sisters, Kim Moler-Russette, Susan Merlino, Barbara Rhudy; brother, John Davis Jr.; grandchildren, McKenzie and Mia Martinez; nephews, Nicholas Moler, Brennan Davis and a niece, Ashley Davis.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
