I had the honor of working as the corporate human resource department for BlackSand. John was an adventurous, energetic leader. For so many of us, he set a new paths for us explore starting ups. He showed us that being new is possible in ways we hadn't considered. And John was a caring man who loved his wife and kids and dedicated service to his church family.

I'm so sorry to hear about John. I know he was one of Andy's best friends. I have fond memories of the three of us hanging out at our house in Libertyville. I remember John being one of my favorite people growing up and grateful that he was my brother's friend. God bless you all.
