Jonathan Norman Obituary

Jonathan Norman April 16, 1988 - June 2, 2010 Jonathan Stewart Norman passed away June 2nd to be with his loving God. We appreciate so much God sharing Jonathan with us these precious 22 years. Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, T.A. and Katherine Norman, of Austin, and his grandfather, Fred Thompson, of Rockwall, TX. Survivors include his mother, Sue Thompson, and grandmother, Betty Thompson, of Rockwall, his father Stewart Norman, and wife Debby, brother, Travis, sister, Carolina, and girlfriend, Helen Allen, all of Austin. Jonathan was a special young man who had a loving heart and touched all that knew him well. He enjoyed music, family trips, his many friends, and the cabin in Ruidoso, N.M. Jonathan especially loved and admired his brother and sister. He will be greatly missed, and it is only in knowing that he has found peace and love at home in heaven with Jesus that makes it possible to bear this great loss. Jonathan-- we love you so much. Visitation with family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9th at First Baptist Church, 901 Trinity, with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Obituary and guestbook available online at www.wcfish.com

I only knew Jon for such a short time but he was a great spirit with an amazing heart. I'll always remember going to his house with friends and listening to records in his room. May he rest in peace and may his family find peace in knowing how special Jon was.

During the few times my son Wayne and I spent some time with you, we found you to be kind, pleasant, and just a great guy. Also a gifted musician with a sense of humor. And you were mellow too, which I thought suited your personality. Wayne and I will miss you. I know that you are at peace.
