Joshua Blair Samuelson Joshua Blair Samuelson, 31, of Dale, TX passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011. Joshua was born September 16, 1980 in Elgin, TX His parents are Martin and Deborah Samuelson of Coupland, TX Joshua was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lund Community, Elgin, TX He attended Coupland school and Taylor High School. Joshua married Karin Leigh Johnson on January 20, 2005 in Lockhart, TX to this union was born a daughter Skylar and son Kade. They were the love of his life. Joshua was an exceptional certified welder by trade. He owned his own successful business, SBJ Welding. He loved collecting tractors, fishing and the outdoors, but especially loved to spend time with his family. Joshua was predeceased by his beloved "Papa" David Samuelson, Sr. He is survived by wife Karin, children Skylar and Kade; parents Deborah and Martin Samuelson, sister Stephanie Cabral and husband Jared; brother Jordan Samuelson and his fiancé Cassie Stabeno; mother & father-in-law Jennie and Hal Johnson; grandparents Marilyn Samuelson, Joan McCombs, Troy and Jeanette McCombs, plus many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends who loved him dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make contributions to the trust fund for Skylar and Kade. Trust Fund is in c/o Prosperity Bank, Elgin, TX Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, Elgin. Funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011 at 11 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at Lund. Burial will follow at the Lund Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
