Michael Dysart Obituary

Michael Lee Dysart was born to Mary Lee and Archi Leroy Dysart in Henderson Tx. on Nov. 9th, 1951. He grew up in Pittsburg TX where he graduated Highschool in 1970. He briefly attended East Texas State University where he met his soon to be wife Linda Johston. They had a child Christopher born in 1972 as they both transferred to the University of Texas here in Austin where Michael went on to achieve a degree in Architectural Engineering. He is survived by his son Chris, Daughter-in-law Maggie, and his granddaughters Kiley and Elizabeth.

Mike worked for Allied Fence for over 40 years where he was their lead project estimator. Mike was a prolific lover of the Blues and was known to frequent local venues such as Antone's whenever he could. He was a very giving person and supported many worthwhile causes in an effort to feed the hungry, protect the innocent, and protect both the local and global communities proving that he was truly his brother's keeper.

To all that knew Mike, he was a quiet man who kept to himself, but when addressed was kind, friendly, and diversly knowledgeable. On this anniversary of your death, I wanted all to know how truly honored I am to have called you my Dad, and how I have learned what a truly great man you were! I will miss you all the rest of my days.
