Miles Allen Matheny, 21, of Austin went to his eternal home in Heaven on Tuesday, June 29, 2004. Allen was born to his parents, Miles and Bonita on August 12, 1982, in Odessa, Texas. An avid sportsman, Allen had a passion for fishing, hunting and baseball. A graduate of Lanier High School, he worked hard to become a production lead were he worked at Eagle Signal. A dedicated son, brother, fiancé and friend, Allen had an undying love for his niece, Ainsley, a love he was preparing to share with his unborn child, due January 25th. With a love for life and all those around him, Allen left a lasting impression on everyone he passed, whether it be with his perfect smile, sense of humor or dedication as friend, family member and brother. Allen is survived by his father, Miles Matheny of Austin; mother, Bonita Mueller and husband, Gerald Mueller of Pflugerville; brother, Brian Matheny and daughter, Ainsley Matheny of Pflugerville; fiancée, Ana Ceballos of Austin; grandparents, Edward and Ima Jean Faglie of Cedar Park; grandparents, Marvin and Dixie Matheny of Kerrvile; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was met in Heaven by his great-grandparents, friends and his loving Aunt Lori. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2004, in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden / Capital Parks Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Harold O'Chester officiating. Burial will follow at Cook- Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Fund for Miles Matheny at Wells Fargo Bank Acct. No. 5610182395.
