Robert Brady Obituary

The stars shine a little brighter over Texas as they welcome Robert Hall "Bob" Brady home. A proud Texan whose roots run deep in the Lone Star State. Bob's life was defined by his dedication to service, innovation, history, and, above all, integrity.

After graduating from Lamar High School in Houston, Bob went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Marines before earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. A school he cherished as a lifelong fan. Pete married Mary Jane Burchman, and together they raised two children, Robin and Hall, laying the foundation for a loving and enduring family. That degree launched a successful career in the aviation industry, where Bob's brilliant mind and curious spirit led to several innovations, including three patented aviation devices, a testament to his lifelong passion for flight.

Bob found great joy in the outdoors and was never more at peace than when boating across open waters or soaring through the skies in his burnt orange Cessna. He was always ready for an adventure and loved nothing more than sharing those experiences with family and friends. Some of his fondest memories were made on Lake Murray in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where he shared laughter, love, and joy with his beloved wife, Sandra Brady.

Bob is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Robin Scott; his son, Robert Hall Brady Jr.; his son-in-law, Michael Gabriel; his grandchildren, John Scott, Paige Scott, Allison Petmecky, and Bobby Petmecky; his great-granddaughter, Juliet Petmecky; and his soon-to-arrive grandson, Daniel Petmecky.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at A Serene Setting for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Bob. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob Brady's name to A Serene Setting, 2101 Crosscreek Trail, Round Rock, TX 78681. A Celebration of Life will be held in June; details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.

My Grand Dad was the most nice and gentle person I've ever met; Qualities I did not realize were rare until I grew up. The world can be harsh and scary but whenever he was around I knew everything would be alright. I'll miss hearing him chuckle at my jokes and seeing his smile.

I'll miss so many things about my dad, but his sense of humor is what I'll miss the most.
