Ronald G. Daniels of Cedar Park, TX, passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was 87. He was born on April 10, 1938 in Oakland, CA., to V. Darrell Daniels and Frances May Hamilton. He lived in various cities in the west and finally settled in Glendale, CA. He graduated from high school there and enrolled at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and graduated with a Bachelors degree in business. He married his high school sweetheart, Judy Campbell in 1959. After working in Colorado for 3 years, he took a job with Chevrolet Motor Division of GM, where he worked for 37 years in sales and marketing. They lived in several states during his career but primarily in Texas and California. After retiring he and Judy moved to the Austin area where he was active in Town and Country Sports and the Miracle League as a volunteer. He loved being with his children and grandchildren and playing golf now and then. He and Judy liked to travel and enjoyed spending summers at their condo in the San Diego California area.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Judy; and 3 children: Virginia (Ginger) Goodin (John) of Cedar Park, Ronald Daniels, Jr. (Linda) of Cerritos, CA., and Richard G. Daniels (Paige) of Leander; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for members of the family.
