A Memorial Service for Jeanne Ann Lea, 75, of Grand Saline, will be held by the church and family at 4 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Mineola.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Jeanne Ann Lea passed away on September 10, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on November 19, 1949, in Denver City, Texas, to Julius and Betty DeuPree.
Jeanne Ann spent her life in Mineola before making Grand Saline her home for the past 32 years. She was a devoted member of her church, where she faithfully oversaw the church kitchen and was active in the Order of the Daughters of the King. Her love for community service was evident through her longtime membership in the Grand Saline Athena Club. She also shared her creativity and talent with the community by writing the Salt Festival Pageant play scripts for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Betty DeuPree.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Dr. Jim Lea of Grand Saline; her children, Joanna Anderson and husband Heath of Midland, Jay Judge and wife Danielle of Tomball, Josh Judge and Jory Stiefel of New York, NY, and Jimmy Lea and wife Lori of Bonham; brother, Joe DeuPree of Dallas; six grandchildren, Stacie and Jacob Edwards of Midland, Annalee and Harper Judge of Tomball, and Stone and Avery Lea of Bonham; great-granddaughter, Adalynn Edwards of Midland and one great-grandson on the way, Jaxton Edwards; and numerous other relatives and friends.
