FONTAINE, Thomas Marshall
Thomas Marshall Fontaine, 86, died July 26, 2016, in Round Rock, TX, of natural causes.

Tom was born October 15, 1929, to Jeff and Lanie Fontaine. He graduated from Center High School in 1947, and from Texas A&M University in 1951, with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He worked in the field of petrochemical instrumentation for more than 30 years, and was an avid fisherman. In retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Jacqueline, and his children: Rebecca Fontaine of Austin, Dan Fontaine and wife Kim of Houston, and Joanna Fontaine Crawford and husband Tom, of Round Rock, TX. He was preceded in death by his son Jeff Fontaine. He also leaves behind adored grandchildren Jackson, Kaziah, Lilyanne, and Marenna Crawford.

I offer my sympathy and prayers for all of Tommy's family. My parents were close friends of Jeff and Lanie Fontaine in Center, and my brother and I knew all their boys. They were a wonderful family.

MY SINCERE SYMPATHIES TO ALL OF TOMMY'S FAMILY. I GREW UP IN CENTER, TEXAS, KNOWING ALL OF THE FONTAINE FAMILY. I WAS IN SCHOOL WITH TOM FROM THE FIRST GRADE THRU HIGH SCHOOL, THOUGH A COUPLE OF YEARS BEHIND. WE WERE SCOUTS TOGETHER, AND FRIENDS. HE WAS A FINE PERSON, AND I REGRET THAT WE WERE NOT ABLE TO SEE AND VISIT WITH ONE ANOTHER DOWN THRU THE YEARS.

THE MEMORIES OF HIM AND ALL IN HIS FAMILY I SHALL CHERISH, ALWAYS. LOUIS MULDROW
