Toby Zimmerman

Toby Zimmerman Toby Zimmerman, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010 in Austin, TX. Toby is the only survivor in her family of the Holocaust. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband of 30 years, Solomon. She is survived by her loving children, Tillie Zimmerman Katz, Abe Zimmerman and his wife Evonne Atlas; beloved grandchildren, Adam Zimmerman, Noah Zimmerman, Andrea Kampine and her husband Bill, Barry Katz and his wife Lisa; cherished greatgrandchildren, Stella and Emma Katz, Eli and Benjamin Kampine. The family would like to express thanks to all of the people who have been by Toby's side through her years both in Austin and in Houston for their care and compassion. Toby was in the truest meaning of the words a "dear friend" to all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 12 noon in the Adath Emeth Cemetery, Houston,Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Houston Holocaust Museum.
