Velma Liebman Obituary

In loving memory of Velma J Liebman, she left us to sing with the angels on December 28, 2023 in Spokane, WA. She was born on March 31, 1947 in Colville, WA. She was Preceded in death by her son, Wesley Liebman; Parents, Marshall and Iva Estes; brothers, Oroville, Vernell and Calvin Estes and sister, Viola McGarry. Velma is survived by her husband Marion Liebman, son, Bert (Samantha) Liebman. Grandchildren, Rion Liebman and Christina (Nathan) Neff, 2 Great Grandchildren, Johnathon Liebman and Lily Neff and 3 sisters, Elva Link, LaVonna Conley, and Evelyn Austin and many nieces and nephew
She attended school 1st- 8th grade at Doyle School on Aladdin Rd. and graduated from Northport High School. She then went on to marry her husband of 58 years, Marion. She worked as a fast food cook ad volunteered as a cook at her sons school, (Bert). However, the job she loved most was being a wife and homemaker. She always loved spending time doing things with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Any time she could spend up at the creek in Northport watching the deer and the squirrels with her husband was a great time to her. She loved to dance growing up at Grange hall dances. Velma loved to sing karaoke and host parties and family gatherings with lots of singing and dancing She was a long time member of the Eagles Lodge where they would go to sing and dance.
There will be no service, as that was her wish. However, there will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, you can donate to Hospice of Spokane, or a charity of your choice.
