KEIZER - Alma Inlow Howell Parsons died April 27, 2013 at Sherwood Park Care Center in Keizer, OR. She was 99.
Alma was born on July 17, 1913 in Doris, CA to Fred and Margaret Inlow. She was raised in Jackson County, OR then moved to Yachats, OR, where she married Myron Howell. After his death in 1976, she married William Parsons, and moved to Crescent City, CA. In 1990, after William's death, she moved to Poulsbo, WA.
Alma was a faithful member of Christ Memorial/Gateway Fellowship Church in Poulsbo, WA. She volunteered her time at Martha and Mary Health Services also in Poulsbo.
She has six children: Beth Phillips of Medford, OR, Walter Howell of Newport, OR, Rosalie Grigsby and Charlotte Jorgensen of Poulsbo, WA, Roy Howell (deceased), and Ronald Howell of Salem, OR. She was the grandmother of 27, great-grandmother of 64, great-great-grandmother of 81, and great-great-great-grandmother of three.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Brooks Assembly of God Church, 9165 Portland Rd. NE, Brooks, OR 97305. Memorial donations may be made to Brooks Assembly of God Church. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
