Working on a 50-year reunion for the College of Law class of 1973, I found Ed's obituary today. Sorry I hadn't heard before. I remember Ed well from our class, a gentle and quiet guy with a trenchant sense of humor. I was delighted in later years to hear he was on the Law School faculty, and I talked to him a time or two about it.
We will recall him at our gathering. May his memory be everlasting!

Grew up with EJ in Dayton. He was a wonderful classmate. Many happy memories of the 12 years we spent together in school. Was fun sharing with him at all our class reunions.

My prayers and thoughts are with you Pat, and your children. We will all miss Ed, who will always be remembered as a truly, genuinely, kind, thoughtful and good man. One of the best I ever met in my life and a good friend.
