What a great guy. I spent a lot of time in his chair in 2012 and he always laughed at my goofy jokes. I was continually amazed at his skills blending technical know-how with artistic abilities. Truly a great loss for all of us. My condolences to his family and colleagues.

For the family of Kinley Adams: at a time like this, we can find no words to express our sorrow at Kinley's passing. As with the rest of those that have known him over the years, we will miss his smiling face and cheery manner. Kinley could make the trip to the dentist almost fun.

I didn't know him as a friend, but was a patient for over 20 years. Dr. Adams was one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. He was so gentle and thoughtful, and that was reflected in his skills as a Dentist. I enjoyed teasing him about his peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwiches he'd eat everyday, and making him laugh at dumb jokes. He had a great laugh that made his eyes and whole face light up.

The loss of Kinely is a great loss for the whole community. He'll be missed by many, God bless him.

Kinley's Ski Patrol Picture

I am so saddened to hear the outcome of the search efforts for Kinley. When I transferred to the Santiam Pass Ski Patrol, Kinley was my candidate trainer. That was 8 years ago. He became an instant friend and someone I will never forget. Kinley like to kid with me and I still have his voice of "Oh Joel" engraved in my memory. Kinley didn't hesitate in volunteering to take my ski duty day shift with short notice when I was in dire need but that was the kind of guy he was. Always willing to help someone out in the spur of the moment. Lorraine, Kinley touched us all on the Patrol and he will always be remembered for his joyous attitude. I always enjoyed skiing with him and you and hope to ski with you again in keeping Kinley's spirit alive. Kinley's lose is tough for me and I can't imagine the lost felt by you and the immediate family. Especially when it is unexpected. When I first heard Kinley was missing by e-mail from Anne Greenwood June 23, my prayers went out for a successful search and rescue. I clung to the computer checking the status of the search efforts 3 to 4 timed a day. As time went on, I held an optimistic view as did you and the family. That how much this man was loved. Now we are face with the reality that Kinley is physically no longer with us. Our only comfort is that he remains spiritually attached to each and everyone he touched. That can never be taken from us. May the passing of time be our solace in easing the sadness we all feel.

I will always remember Kinley as a kind and gentle soul, and the best dentist that I have ever been to. His passing is a great loss for the community and all that knew him, and his family is in my thoughts and prayers. His office staff is the best also, and I'm sure that they will need support in handling his patients now and in the near future. I will always remember his wonderful laugh.

Lorraine, Dr. Kenard, Gerrie and family, Pat and I grieve along with you for a remarkable man. He influenced me in many ways and set the bar so high that I was never as happy as a dental assistant after moving away. Kinley was a wonderful man, a great dentist and a godly example for your sons. We will be praying for comfort for you all. Pat and Melanie McReynolds

Lorraine, Brock, and Cameron, I am so sorry to hear about Kinley's death. He was a good friend in college and one we all remembered for his love for Lorraine. More in the card that's coming.

Just a few weeks ago I saw Kinley sitting their on the floor with children around him at church. That's who he was - willing to serve at any capacity - a great example to others - to me over the many years.

Lorraine, Brock, Cammeron, and the rest of the family: I will still pray for you through this difficult time.

Maybe the chariots of fire didn't come as we expected and prayed -and then, maybe it had already come.

Dear family and friends of Dr. Kinley Adams,
I am so very sorry for your loss. When I think of Dr. Adams, I remember a very kind, extremely gentle dentist, with a warm smile for everyone. His father was my first dentist as a child, and Kinley my second as an adult. This is such a loss of such a wonderfully giving and caring person. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow.

Although I didn't know Dr. Adams, I was touched by him--my grandson and I were hiking on Mt. Hood the day he went to be with the Lord. His example as a Christian, as a selfless professional, and as an avid outdoorsman are exemplary for me, and for my grandson who was hiking with me. May the Lord Jesus bless and comfort his family and friends for Dr. Adam's early departure, and may the assurance of seeing him in heaven fill them with hope. Kinley had just become a client at my barbershop, we even talked about my new found love "Mountain Climbing" while he was getting his haircut. I was in awe at this guys knowledge of Mountain Climbing. I'm so grieved I was never able to come to know him as a friend and client but I know this was a great man and I'm praying for his family!

Kinley has given so much of himself to so many. He will continue to live on in each of us through his love and his walk with Christ. In our faith we can seek solace in the knowledge that God has an even more remarkable reward in mind as Kinley's life continues to unfold in the other room of our Father's house.
Love and peace to all of you.
