Marian Ella Robertson

Marian Ella Robertson March 3, 1920 June 24, 2010 SALEM - Marian E. Robertson, 90, was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on March 3, 1920. She died on June 24, 2010 of congestive heart failure. Marian was the daughter of Orville and Lucy Hall. She had lived in Oregon since 1925. She began school in Shaw and graduated from Scio high School. She was an alumna of Willamette University and was a member of the varsity debate team. She was an alumna of Oregon College of Education and was active in the Crimson O Club and directed college drama productions. Her teaching experience included schools in Mill City, Albany, Scio and Hillsboro. She later served as a consultant for a textbook company in Oregon and Washington for 17 years. Her husband, Howard and her son, Richard preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Schuller and husband, Les; granddaughters, Trenna Landers, Krisanna Clark and husband, Delos; great-grandchildren, Markus and Maria Landers and Alaina and Declan Clark. She enjoyed being a Master Gardener and a member of the Partners of the Americas which was her pleasure in visiting with her many friends in Costa Rica. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 in the South Salem Friends Church.
