Patsy (Pat) Jacquan Frith

February 4, 1947 - May 7, 2016

Salem - Patsy (Pat) Jacquan Frith, a Salem resident since 1975, passed away May 7, 2016 after a 6 month struggle with cancer.

Born February 4, 1947 in Starr City, Arkansas, Pat's family moved to Oregon in 1948. She attended school in Springfield, Oregon, and graduated from Thurston High School in 1966.

Pat was married for 47 years to Mike Frith. They were known for their sweet dedication to each other and their children. They lived in Salem since 1975. They had four children, Timothy, Sean, Joshua, and Erin. All live in Salem except Timothy who lives in Stayton. Pat and Mike have 11 grandchildren and delight in every one.

Pat was a stay at home Mom until 1991 when she began work in the family business, 1430 KYKN radio. Pat had three sisters and one brother who remain close. She was a long time member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Salem.

Pat had a delightfully pleasant personality, and a wonderful smile. She was most happy when she was involved in activities that included her children and grandchildren. She was affectionately known as Grammy to her grandchildren. Pat was a Born Again Christian and is in Heaven at this moment. She hopes that all will read and believe John 3:16 and meet her in Heaven some day.

A visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM, Monday, May 16th at City View Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at Queen of Peace Church Tuesday May 17 at 11am. There will be a reception at the church following mass.
