March 13, 1948 - June 15, 2017
SALEM - Scarlet Jean Spradling passed away peacefully in her home early Thursday morning.
Scarlet is preceded in death by her mother and father, Marjorie and Harold Jones and husband, Lester L. Spradling. She is survived by her son, Terry L. Spradling; brother, Harold E. Jones, both of Salem, OR; her sister and brother-in-law, Mae and John Hampton of Aumsville, OR; aunt, Helen Runner of Turner, OR, as well as numerous cousins and countless friends who loved her.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, 605 Commercial St. SE, Salem. Scarlet's Memorial Service will be 6:00pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at South Salem Church of the Nazarene, 1661 Boone Rd. SE, Salem.

She was a very special friend who was full of life and always made us smile by her special ways.
Always willing to give of herself even if would mean her life would become more difficult, she was willing to help anyone if they asked her. She was very bright spot in our lives, she was "Sparkly Scarlet" to us and she will be missed more than we can say. We loved her.
