To the Family of the Most Honorable Bishop Walter Burton. I know that you have been blessed to experience love and care of such a wonderful Man of God. You are blessed to be able to share the love and legacy that he has left behind. I believe that Bishop Burton would have quoted the famed words of Apostle Paul in II Timothy 4; 7-8." I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the Faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness; which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only but unto all them also that love his appearing."I submit these words out of great Love, Sympathy, and Joy.

Bishop Walter Burton was a great leader, uncle, and spiritual father. He will be greatly missed and his works will follow. He has instilled within the sheep that God assigned him a solid foundation. I rejoice that his departing to be with the Lord was precious in the eyesight of our Lord (Ps. 116:15). One scripture comes to mind whenever I think about Bishop. (1.Corin. 15:58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Forasmuch as you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Bishop lived this verse. We love you Bishop. Many blessings and condolences to the family.

I'd like to send my deepest condolences to all my people and I wish that I could be down there with you all. Bishop was not only just a uncle and a teacher to me but he was a father to me also. I remember that great big smile and those great words of wisdom that will be with me for the rest of my life. He was a real hero to me and he was always there for me. He was a great example of what a holly man suppose to be and I am so glad he is in a better place. I loved him dearly and his memories and lessions he taught me will be with me forever. I loved him dearly Little David

Scripturally, we are encouraged to come unto Him when we are laborers to receive rest. It is therefore fitting that Bishop Walter Burton answered the invitation with joy and confidence.

I encourage the family and friends of Mr. Burton to feel blessed that Jesus Christ chose to issue him an invtation to come home, rest, and ultimately receive his reward.

My prayer is that all will be divinely comforted, and spiritually prepared during these hours of bereavement and forward.
