Annie Clare Greene, 87, of Hastings, Fla., died July 3, 2008, at St. Augustine Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Jacksonville, Fla., and was a lifelong resident of St. Johns County. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She owned and operated her own bookkeeping and tax preparation company.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, the Rev. Patrick Carroll officiating. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Sunday at Craig Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlis R. Greene Sr., and brothers, Buddy, Yulee, Joseph and Daniel Mickler.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Neil) Stevens, and son, Randy (Patti) Greene, both of Hastings; sisters, Mary Theresa Angus, Virginia Riley, both of St. Augustine, Martha (George) Wise and Louise Johnson, both of Jacksonville, and Frances (Johnny) Howard, Orangedale; brothers, Charles Mickler and Paul (Jeannie) Mickler, both of St. Augustine; grandchildren, Trey (Amy) Greene, Nicole Greene, Michelle (Luke) Losco and Shawn Stevens; and great-grandchildren, Lane and Kaydence Greene and Courtney, Chris, Emily and Joshua Puttick.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory and Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.

What a wonder mother you had, and what great children she had, Annie Claire has been waiting for God to come get her, how wonderful, what a great birthday present, Heaven is celebrating today, I hope you Pam, and Randy and the grandchildren find peace in you're hearts now, love Susie
