I was a member of the FSDB swimming team when Doris was a coach and gym teacher there. I then moved on to the St. Augustine City Swimming Team where Heather was my coach. I learned at an early age from Doris, that there is no obstacle that can't be overcome. Almost 40 years later, I still remember Doris and feel thankful for some of the very important qualities she helped instill in me which have enabled me to become the athelete, professional, and most importantly the human being I am today. Thank you to Doris.
Heather . . . .if you would ever be interested. . . .I have a couple of neat stories to share with you about your mother. At any time, you can contact me . . .. . . .
