Elzie McLaughlin Obituary
"Gidget" Reed McLaughlin, 58, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Oct. 5, 2009, at her home. She was born in Arizona and had resided in St. Augustine since 1983. She was a machine operator at VAW Aluminum. She was the daughter of John and Olive Reed.
Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Thursday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. and continues after the services until 8 p.m. Thursday at Craig Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Echols and John Reed, and grandchild, Kelsey Frock.
She is survived by daughter, Angie McLaughlin, St. Augustine; son, James McLaughlin, Grand Island, Neb.; sisters, Pamela Marshall, Grand Island, Neb., Joyce Spiker, Decatur, Mich., and Elizabeth Everetts, Orange Park, Fla.; brother, William Reed, Tennessee; and grandchildren, John Sharer III, Andrew Frock, Malachi Dixon, Sandra McLaughlin, Damien McLaughlin, Ralph McLaughlin and David Sharer.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
