Inez R. Tempfli, 84, passed away at her home Jan. 27, 2012, with her beloved husband of 65 years at her side. She met her husband at a bowling ally in New York City, when he offered to keep score for her team. Inez was a blue-eyed, natural blond and she knew how to play it to the hilt. They soon began dating and within a few weeks they were married.
It was a wonderful life together. They raised a beautiful family and enjoyed traveling. She was a very friendly, outgoing person and made friends wherever she went. She always enjoyed talking to her friends near and far.
Survivors include her husband, Desmond; children, Lynn Flom, and Glenn Tempfli, and her grandchildren.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park (www.craigfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.

Des, Lynn and Glenn,
You probably remember me as "Buddy", from 125 Moore Street. Many years have passed and I think of you all often. Inez was like a second Mom to me and I remember our years in New Hyde Park fondly. May she rest in peace.

Desi,
I will always remember the laughs we shared at the Conquistadors. She had a way of seeing the good side of things and found the humor in everything. Inez was happy because you gave each other a wonderful life together. She will be missed but never forgotten. PS---I have your soccer team photo from 1931 framed and often look at it for inspiration. Thanks!
