Butts...how do I say goodbye to the one cousin I considered "my brother". We lost too many years and I had hoped to have more with you than I did after we found each other. So I will have to be content with the knowledge that one day we will meet again never to be separated again. I look forward to seeing you and "my other brother" Bill. All my love, Rosemary.

To the Duross family,
Please accept my condolences. Heaven has a new angel. I hope my Uncle Jim has some wise-cracking comments for dad up there. Who am I kidding? Of course he does. :) Thoughts and prayers to you all during this difficult time.

Dad, where do I begin. I am so blessed and so honored to call you my dad. I can still feel the pride I felt when you showed up in your uniform at my 24hours procession at St. Francis De Sales, or rode in on your motorcycle to watch my softball game. You always put your family first. You were a loving devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. You served your country and your community with honor, you are loved and respected by many. I can only hope to be half the person you were, but I will try. I miss dad, you will always be close to my heart. Until we meet again, your loving and adoring Daughter.
I love you dad. Margaret

Dear Peg and family. It was an honor to have known Jim and to have worked with him and to have been his partner in the Marshals Service. I will never forget him and to this day love telling Jimmy DuRoss stories and quoting him. Jim and your family are in my prayers.

Dear Duross family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Mr. Duross for many years, having helped him with his pharmacy needs, and I just loved to hear his U.S. Marshall stories. I hope it is some comfort to you to know that he also spoke often of his love for his family. What a terrific guy; while I am thankful that he no longer suffers, he will be greatly missed.

Dear Peg and children, Jim was a good man, great cop and wonderful friend. I will always remember one of his many slogans: "A good cop is never cold, wet or hungry!" Above all, I will ALWAYS remember "Seamus" with a huge smile. I think that's what he would want, and I believe its the greatest honor you could pay someone. Rest well, Jim, and look upon us with a smile. Peg and kids, may good memories comfort you and keep you strong. With much love and prayer...
