About Dad from my sister Collette,
According to the I Ching, "If we want to know what anyone is like we have only to observe on what he bestows his care and what sides of his own nature he cultivates and nourishes." What Dad bestowed his care on and cultivated the most was his family.
My fondest memories of him come from Sunday breakfast. Something I have truly missed not living at home for so long. He always took such care in preparing these meals, cooking our eggs to order, just the way we like them. Once we were all seated he seemed to always have a goofy joke or silly comment.
He extended this tradition to Landin and Quinn when he and Mom graciously accepted the responsibility of two teenage boys. We have all benefited from Dad being the person, the father, and the grandfather he was. I know I have learned a lot from those countless Sundays.
Thank you Dad for the love, wisdom and scrapple.

Jackie and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Bill actually replaced me when I left Bass Shoes and, then, we discovered that we both lived in Lake Linden. What a cheerful upbeat "gentleman". I am so sorry for your lose. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Margi

Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Bill was a fantastic person, husband, and father I know you all will miss him dearly. I'm sorry we can't attend the funeral services but know that all the "Lohr gang" will be there in spirit. Love, Suzy, Brandon, Carey and all the gang.
