Jeffrey Smithson Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Anastasia Baptist Church with Chaplain Jeffery Peppers and CSM Jeffrey Topping, officiating.
A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Celeste Ann Smithson, St. Augustine; daughter, Madeline Ruth Smithson, St. Augustine; sons, Christian David Smithson, Jeremy James Smithson, both of Jacksonville, Colin Thomas Smithson, St. Augustine; parents, Bill and Joan Smithson, Cupertino, Calif.; sisters, Julia DiGialorenzo, San Jose, Calif., Nicole Smithson, Cupertino, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Riley and Lily Smithson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Smithson.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Knowing that Jeffrey won't be around is hard for all of us but to know we have an Angel like him to protect you is an honor. Celeste you have said it Jeffrey loved you so much!!!! I remember when you first married and how excited he was to introduce you, my classmate!!! His love will shine on through you. He was a great father. To have him as a friend and as you know we called each other brotger/sister.....he know exactly when his sister needed him!!! I will miss him but am blessed for the time we had!!! Know everyone is in my prayers! God speed solider.....thank you for your time served you may rest now!
