June Hall Obituary

June Blair Hall, 98, formerly of St. Augustine, Fla., passed away Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Raymond Alexander Hall and her son, Raymond Blair Hall.
She is survived by her sons, Bob Hall (Edna), Ron Hall (Ruth); daughters, Sharon Jones and Linda Mignon; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
June spent most of her early years in the hills of Virginia. There she met and married the most handsome man she had ever seen. They moved to Bristol where they raised their five children. Some of their most memorable years were spent as proprietors of the S.E. Massengill recreational property on Boone Lake.
In 1964, June and Raymond moved to St. Augustine, Fla. There, June secured her first job and second career as manager of the Zorayda Castle where she remained for 25 years. June was extremely proud of her family and was always available to offer words of wisdom. Her standard advice was to "take two aspirin" and "hang in there." She loved to dance and even in her 90s could be found "cutting the rug." She passed on her love of life and compassion for others to her children and grandchildren.
June lived a long and healthful life attributed to her faith in God, love of family and a daily glass of red wine. In her own words, "I've had a wonderful life."
