Mary Bell Rafferty, 83, of St. Augustine, passed away on Sept. 4, 2011, at the Bailey Family Center for Caring. Born and raised in Owensboro, Ky., she had also been a long-time resident of Indianapolis, Ind., before moving to St. Augustine in 1996. Mary owned and operated a restaurant until her retirement. She touched the lives of many, and was dearly loved by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Rafferty; her parents, Emma and John L. Rone; her sisters, Doris and Emma Jean; her brother, Houston; and her nephews, Frankie and Johnny.
She is survived by her son, Tom Bell, and his wife, Donna, of St. Augustine; brother-in-law, Arvel Church; nieces, Rhonda, Sue, Karen, Peggy and Beth; and nephews, Mark, Mickey, Jack, Steve and Scott.

Tom - was doing a search for you and thought I would try to cross reference it using your mother's name. Then I came across the obituary. She was absolutely the best Mom that anybody could have ever had, I always envied you. For all of the years you were lucky enough to have her you were blessed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
