Phyllis Dubose

Phyllis Dubose, 69, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Feb. 17, 2009, at her home. She was born in Louisville, Ky., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1958. She retired as assistant tax collector for the St. Johns County Tax Collector's Office. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday (today) at Craig Funeral Home. Dubose; her parents, Earl and Ruth Hatfield; her brother, Eddie Hatfield; and father-in-law, George A. Dubose. She is survived by her daughters, Kim VanKirk (Randy) and Karen Sprouse (Tony); her son, William Scott Dubose (Michelle); her mother-in-law, Inez Dubose; seven grandchildren, Shane Sprouse, Sterling Sprouse, Dylan VanKirk, Blake VanKirk, Hannah Dubose, Haley Dubose and William C. Dubose; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
