Randy Doolittle Obituary

Randy Doolittle, beloved husband, son, brother and uncle, died peacefully at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, S.C., on June 24, 2009, after a long battle with brain cancer.

Randy grew up in Westchester County, N.Y. A graduate of Yorktown High School, he received a degree in business administration from Pace University. His business career was in the health food industry.

As Florida was a part of his territory, he often traveled throughout the state. Randy and his wife loved St. Augustine – they were married here and visited frequently.

Randy leaves behind his devoted wife, Susan; his father, Charlie, and stepmother, Eva; his two brothers, Douglas and Paul, Paul's family; and his stepsister, Anna. They all extend many thanks to their friends and to Randy's friends for support and prayers during Randy's long illness.

Those who wish to honor Randy's life and express their sympathy to the family are welcome to make a contribution in his name to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

Please accept our sincerest sympathy to all of you in your time of loss, although belatedly. Randy was a joy to us at the McCall Hospice House during his stay here and will forever be mentioned with love and respect. Randy was always a staff and volunteer favorite and faced this terrible disease with his head held high and as bravely as he could. His smile would light up a room.
