Richard Barile Obituary
Richard John Barile Jr., 50, of St. Augustine died July 4, 2008, at Palatka Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a boating accident.
He was born in Hartford, Conn., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1992. He was the general manager of St. Augustine Marine. He was a member of San Sebastian Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at San Sebastian Catholic Church, the Rev. Patrick Carroll officiating. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Patrick Morgan.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Penny Barile; daughter, Stephanie Barile; sons, Austin (Kathryn Masters) Barile and Richard Barile III, all of St Augustine; parents, Richard and Raffaela Barile, Ft. Lauderdale; sisters, Darlene Wylie and Idalee Sanford, Brooksville, Fla.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.

I am saddened and schocked. My condolences to Penny and the family. I use to work with Rick at St.Augustine Marina and even though I had not seen him in a few years I have many fond memories of him. I am so very sorry.

Oh Penny, Steph, Richard, Austin, I am so sad for each of you. I have always admired each of you and the skills you have used to be a wonderful family. You are respected highly and I am so sorry that your fearless leader has passed.
