Richard Marshall Jones, 51, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Oct. 28, 2012 at Flagler Hospital. He was a native and life-long resident of St. Augustine. Rick was a chef and a member of the Cathedral-Basilica Parish. He was a 1979 graduate of St. Joseph Academy.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel of the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Augustine, the Rev. Tom Willis, pastor, officiating.
He was the son of the late Richard Marshall Jones, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; mother, Angie Jones; step children, Derek Mitchell, Carrie Wilson and Sarah Checa; and eight grandchildren, Madison, Madalyn, Braydon, Jacob, Ashton, Zacery, Andrew and Nora.

Rest in Peace Ricky. I have wonderful childhood memories of our summers in St. Augustine. Ricky was always keeping me laughing, and I remember how I used to look forward to spending the night at his house. Those were good days.
