Thomas Griffin Obituary
He was the son of Thomas G. Griffin and Francis (Krukowski) Griffin, and the last surviving of five children. Thomas graduated from Catholic Central High School, before serving honorably in the USAF. It was during his service where his lifelong love of photography took root, and led to a successful 36 year career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as the University photographer.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Pat (Mary) Gillick Griffin; his children, Scott Griffin, Pinehurst, North Carolina and Traci Griffin, Troy, N.Y. and two granddogs, LadyJane and Pumpkin. He is also survived by his sisters-in law, Anne (Bill) Barcie, Grace (Don) Purcell, Joan Dowdell and Pam Gillick; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In recent years he added volunteering at Flagler Hospital to his beloved activities which included ice hockey and golf.
A memorial mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at St. Ambrose Church, 6070 Church Road Elkton, FL 32033. Memorial donations in memory of Tom may be made to a charity of your choice.
St. John's Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

We worked together and played a lot of golf together. Even when we were miles apart were together in spirit. We were fortunate the summer to be with Pat and Tom for an all too short visit. I'm still in shock but our belief tells us will be together again. I'll see you on the 1st tee Tom.
