Timothy Masters Obituary

Timothy Joseph Masters, 58, of St. Augustine passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 21 at the Bailey Family Center for Caring of Northeast Florida Community Hospice.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Phyllis Ann Masters and brother, Bruce Masters.

Timmy (Meathead) Masters was born and raised in St. Augustine where he continued to live the rest of his life.

He graduated from St. Joseph Academy where he was a star athlete and played on the football, basketball and baseball teams and was known as a ball hog.

He was the founder and owner of Masters Masonry of St. Augustine.

Timmy loved his family, his three daughters, their mother and his grandson immensely.

Tim had a strong, loving father, a man of great faith. Timmy was so grateful for Papa Bear, his brothers and sisters and his aunts and uncles.

He loved all the very many great friends in his life. His friends where his life. Tim did not know a stranger.

Tim lived life full throttle, with no helmet, the way he wanted to. He loved the Sand Bar, the Gators, his Harley, his girlfriends, his Jeep Scrambler, The Gun Club, ice cream and fishing.

Tim loved Krammer, his faithful dog, most of all.

He is survived by his father, Barry J. Masters; daughters, Erin Morgan King (Jason), Forrest C. Masters and Emily F. Masters; his children"s mother and best friend, Lisa Masters; sisters, Teresa Ann Everett (Michael) and Rene Celeste Masters (Adam); brothers, Stephen "Beanie" Masters (Darlene), Thomas "Tommy" Barry Masters (Beth), Christopher "Chris" Martin Masters (Jana), Kevin Francis Masters and Jerry Richard Masters (Dena) and grandchild, Kai Dean Masters-Lands. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins and the girls" godfathers: Glen, Joel and Doug.

A memorial Mass will be held in his honor at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 at San Sebastian Catholic Church, 1112 State Road 16, St. Augustine, FL 32084. The Rev. Seamus O"Flynn will be the celebrant. A reception will follow from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the St. Augustine Rod and Gun Club, 401 Gun Club Road, St. Augustine, FL 32095.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing are asked to make contributions in his memory to Community Hospice Bailey Center, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or Flagler College.

Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
