Connie Ray Obituary

Mrs. Connie Louise Ray of Odenville, Alabama passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 78. She worked at Old Smokey's BBQ in Leeds for many years. She lived in St. Clair County for 31 years where she shared her life with Mr. Olen M. Ray until his passing on July 18, 2013, and she is survived by her sons, Frank Pennell, Micheal Pennell, Robert Pennell, and Charlie Ray. She was cared for by many and to name a few: brother, Tony Harris, sister, Carol Speakman, Raymond Speakman, Celia Lindsay niece, Donny Williams, Crystal Glenn her granddaughter, Sue Pennell and Iris Pennell daughter-in-laws, Bobby Ray grandson and family. She had many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a woman who never met a person she didn't care for and was well loved by many. A graveside service for Mrs. Ray will be held at St. Clair Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com. Usrey Funeral Home – Pell City is in charge of arrangements.
