Mrs. Juanita Truitt Ingram

Juanita Truitt Ingram, wife of Eddie Ingram (deceased), died on her 98th birthday, Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010. She had just shared a beautiful Christmas season with every member of her family gathered together. Born to parents, Ida Hardin Truitt and Leroy Truitt, Juanita was reared to love family and music. Trained in voice, she brought great pleasure and beauty to all who heard her sing. From crooning lullabies to her children and grandchildren to being a decades-long member of the Mt. Pisgah church choir, her clear soprano was a comfort and a joy. Juanita lived her life as a moving force. Her work ethic, her love for Eddie, and her faith sustained her through a strenuous farm life and through starting a new life after the farm. Juanita's legacy live in her passionate love for her family: son, Thomas E. Ingram Jr. and wife Jane; daughter, Joy Hinnant Olver and husband Bill; and daughter, Anita Woolley and husband Harold; grandsons, Barry Ingram and wife Lynda, Brian Ingram and wife Dana, and Mike Hinnant and wife Jena; granddaughters, Leanne Woolley, Tonya Hinnant Jordan and husband Mark, and Jennifer Woolley Nobra and husband Jay; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Kilgore, Zachary Ingram, Paige and Lauryn Hinnant, Bailey and Jackson Nobra, and Brayden Jordan. Juanita's love for us all is returned in kind. Although her presence in our lives will be physically missed, her love, her intellect, and her independent spirit will forever be a daily influence on us. Services for Juanita were Thursday, Jan. 14, with 2 p.m. viewing and 3 p.m. service at Kilgroe Chapel, burial at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers were James E. Ingram's grandsons, Tommy Stewart, Jimmy Bearden, Wayne Smith, Richard Davis, Johnny Rea, and great-grandson, Matthew Pope.
