Michael Copps Obituary
Daytona Beach, FL - It is with great sadness the Copps family announces the passing of Michael W. Copps age 80, on Sunday, September 22, 2019, in Daytona Beach Florida. He died due to complications of a stroke on June 17, 2019.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Saturday on October 12th at The Stevens Point Country Club from 12-3 pm.

Hearing of Mike's passing has me devastated. Mike and I had a special friendship. He was my customer first, but a special friendship emerged. We would golf, have dinner at the Sky Club and share stories of our lives. One memorable time was when we were playing golf. On the green, he said to me "Hey, haven't you heard of customer golf?", which while making my putt, I said "Ya, I've heard of it" . We had a good laugh. He loved talking about his parents and their big band music. He loved his children. He loved people. I am saddened beyond belief hoping that one day, we might see each other again, which sadly never happened. I'm honored to have spent quality time with Mike and share our personal stories. May he rest in peace and know that Mike has a special place in my heart.

I had to read the obituary to see the life that Michael lived. I met him ever so briefly but could see he was loved. My condolences to the family for the loss of a very special person.
