HARVEY PETRICK 07/30/1936 - 06/15/2025 Harvey Oscar Petrick, 88, of LaSalle, died on June 15, 2025, at his home. Visitation was on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James and continued on Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service was held at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 11 a.m. Interment was at Lake Hanska Lutheran Cemetery in rural Hanska. Arrangements were with Sturm Funeral Home in St. James. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Harvey was born July 30, 1936, to Otto and Sophie (Hanson) Petrick in Madelia. He attended school in rural LaSalle. Harvey served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1960. On August 12, 1972, he married Frankie Rawlings. Harvey farmed his entire life on the family farm up to a few days before his death. Harvey found no greater joy in life than being on the farm. Even when the work was done, he could be found sitting under the maple tree with Frankie on the farm. Harvey is survived by his children, Lyle (Elizabeth) Petrick, Michelle Petrick, Rachelle Petrick, and Michael (Kathrine Kunkel) Petrick; grandchildren, Wesley, Connor, Amber (John), Zackery, Emily, Brianna, Cassaundra, Freyja, and Kendrick; great grandchildren, Willow and Hemera; and sister, Ardis Vogt. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frankie in 2019; son, Darrell; granddaughter, Eileen Marie; two sisters, Verna Frederickson and Evelyn Sweeny.
