Poulis, Athanasios "Tom" Peter

aged 89, passed away on March 25, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tom was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 22, 1931 to the late Peter Alexander Poulis and Helen (nee Stamatopoulos) Poulis. Tom served in the US Air Force, was the Maitre' d at The Golden Steer and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and traveled across the world to visit family and friends. Tom enjoyed being an entrepreneur, having a good political debate, playing cards, and was known among family and friends for his spirit of generosity. Tom is survived by his brother, Alexander Poulis, niece, Ellie (Poulis) Wideman, nephew-in-law, Shawn Wideman, goddaughter, Sophia (Gitchos) Hinely, and his beloved friends.

Services: Visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 6 at 10:00am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 4967 Forest Park Blvd, with internment at St. Matthews Cemetery. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 4967 Forest Park Blvd, St. Louis, Missouri, 63108. Ambruster Chapel service. www.ambrusterchapel.com
