Betty and Harold were members of a couples' club in Milwaukee with my parents, Marshall and Elsbeth Benedum. I saw her at church when we moved to the area in 1998. I identified myself and recalled with her our family "history." We only had the one visit to her church and so weren't in contact after that. The couples' club had wonderful memories for my parents, long after they stopped meeting because several couples had moved from the area. I'm glad our path crossed with Betty if but briefly. She was a lovely lady!

Betty was my mother’s cousin. Though I did not see her often, she remains an outstanding role model in my life. Betty exemplifies a gracious Christian woman. “A woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30b.
I want to be like Betty!
With love to you all,

Didn’t know Betty well or for very long but she was a light in my life and that of my Dad, her hallmate at Meramec Bluffs. She never missed saying “hello, dear” as we passed in the hallway. Kate, your mom was lucky to have you caring for her! Praying for you and your family. I’m so happy to have met you!

Aunt Betty was truly a light in this world. She was always so sweet and had a smile on her face. I am sure Jesus, Uncle Joe, Louis and Mary met her with open arms up there. Rest assured and peacefully, Aunt Betty, I know you inspired many, including me. Sending love to all who knew and loved Betty.
In His Love,

Betty was always so upbeat and pleasant to be with here at Meramec Bluffs. No one would have guessed that she was the age she was. She will be missed, but we all are grateful to have had her as a neighbor.

Betty was my mother's cousin and my Godmother. I am grateful my parents asked Betty to be my baptismal sponser. Betty's love and care for those around her was unmissable. She extended the love of Christ to all the dear ones in her life. I rejoice that she has remained faithful unto death and will receive a crown of life through Jesus Christ.

I had the pleasure of knowing Betty when I was a private duty nurse at Meramec Bluffs a few years ago. She was absolutely a delight and a joy to visit with. I will always remember her fondly. My sympathies to her dear family. Her faith and her strength was an inspiration. May you find comfort in the Lord‘s peace during this difficult time.
