Big Schulte Obituary

Schulte, Big John died peacefully in his beautiful home in Overland, MO on April 25, 2006.
Big John, 84, father of Carolyn Schulte and Judy Newsham and father-in-law of Paul Newsham; dear PauPau to Alexis and Pat Lane, Adam Newsham, Angie and Kal; treasured cousin of Jimmy Meyer; dear brother of George (Helen) Schulte; dear brother-in-law of Adeline Schulte and the late Leo and Louis Schulte; our dear uncle and cousin. Big John was preceded in death by his first wife Pete Schulte and his second wife Mary Schulte. He was a friend to many and loved and respected by all.
Big John was self-employed brick contractor for most of his life. He was an avid golfer; never missing his 'Thursday Game' in over 20 years with his friends, Professor Dreifke. He also rarely missed karaoke night at the Overland VFW, Post 3944.
Big John's life was personified by an involvement with his family and a spirit of compassion, generosity, humor and unselfishness. His fun-loving and friendly nature was enjoyed by many and will be missed.
If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to PTO at Lee Hamilton Elementary School or St. Augustine Church c /o Father Bob Grttinger.Services: Visitation will be Friday, April 28th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 29th at 10:00 a.m. at WHITE-MULLEN Mortuary, 118 N. Florissant Rd., Ferguson, MO. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Thoughts of remembrance may be made to www.mem.com.
