Walsh, Catherine "Katie" Rose
age 39, from Creve Coeur, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 after battling mental illness for years. Katie was born on February 25th,1985 to Eileen (Boland) & Joseph L Walsh III in Houston, Texas. After Katie graduated from Ursuline Academy in 2003, she went on to study Nursing at UMSL and a dual Masters of Science in Nursing and Nursing-Adult & Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at Webster University. Katie is best remembered for her creativity, energetic affection, and pursuit of happiness. Katie is survived by her beautiful daughter, Shannon Mehringer (6); her parents, Eileen and Joe, her siblings, Joey, Brian, Jack, and Mary Elizabeth; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and her grandmother, Joan Walsh (age 93).
Services: Services will be held at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 7th. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. & Mass at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation or Treatment Advocacy Center.
