My Dearest Cathi,
I am missing you terribly today. It is the beginning of February, and we are having a little tease of warmer weather. Oh what I would give to be able walk in the sunshine and laugh with you again. I have just 11 months now until I retire, and the countdown has began. Once retired, Dennis and I are going to adopt a newborn monkey to raise. Maybe I'll name her Cathi. I love you with every breath I take until the end of time.
Love always and forever,
Eduardo

My Dearest Cathi,
It is now September. This year has flown by so fast, and I miss you so very much. I feel alone even in a crowd these days. Laughter doesn't come as easy as it used to. I remember when we would laugh until we cried. Even at things that weren't that funny. You brought me laughter and the joy that a best friend brings. People have come and gone in my life since you went away. Maybe I expect too much, for them to be like you. There is no one like you.
Love always and forever,
Eduardo

My Dearest Cathi,
As the years flow by, I think of you and miss you often. It is only February now, but the snow drops have popped up and Spring is already in the air. I will listen for your soft whispers in the Spring breeze and know that you are watching over me.
Love always and forever,
Eduardo
PS: Tell Phillippo I say hi. I know that he is with you now.

Missing you today. The years are flying by. You should be seeing Michael any day now. He is in hospice and isn't expected to be with us more than a few days. I have heard you in the whispering winds and it comforts me.
Love always and forever,
Eduardo

My Dearest Cathi,
Time seems to be flying by. We are in the midst of a pandemic now and so may people are passing away, the likes we have never seen. I have family members that have passed and Jim's daughter Talena just died on January 3rd this year. I turned 60 on the 9th. I never dreamed that I would be here at 60, without you. With each passing season, it gets closer to the time when we will be laughing in the sun, together again. I know that you are watching over me and I feel your presence often. We should be getting snow soon, which will lead us back to spring. I will see you in every blossom, my dear friend. I love you.

My Dearest Friend Cathi,
It is February now and we haven't had much of a winter. It is almost Marti Gras time again. I remember the time we spent weeks making pairs of feather earrings to sell on the sidewalk outside of Clementines. You painted faces and I sold earrings. Turned out that we made more money selling single earrings than pairs! We both almost froze that year. I miss you so much.
Love always,
Eduardo

My Dearest Cathi,
The Spring rains are late this year and Summer is just around the corner. Our days in the sun were so special. When I feel your touch in the spring breese, I remeber and smile. The wysteria is blooming on the back fence and I know you are here with me. I love you.

Dear Cathi, What a joy it was to have known you and be your friend. You were such an upbeat and fun woman to be around and added so much to any gathering with your fun and fantastic outfits -- you were a bright light in any gathering at work or at play-- Think about you often and have to smile when I think back about many times we spent together, whether it was on a float trip, or a ride in the red truck or here in Florida with my granddaughter or when you went up to the manager at a restaurant we were at and asked him if he could bottle some pasta sauce for her to take back to St. Louis for Philip as she was sure he would love it. Rest in peace Cathi, you have earned it even though it was too soon! Love, Jo.
