Charles Wunderlich Obituary

Wunderlich, Dr. Charles H. passed away, Friday, December 22, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Lois Wunderlich (nee Diesel), Margaret Wunderlich (nee Adderly) and Bettye Wunderlich (nee Bumpas); loving father of Christian (Cynthia) Wunderlich, Susan (Chris) Finch and Karl (Nancy) Wunderlich; grandfather of Erica (Kinjal) Majumder, Kurt (Ashley) Wunderlich, Andrew (Laura) Finch, Colin (Caitlin) Finch, Emily Finch and Sophie Wunderlich; great-grandfather of Charles, Clara and Adelaide; step-father and step-grandfather, and dear friend to many. Dr. Wunderlich was a veteran of WWII serving as a Corpman in the Navy Seabees. Using the GI Bill he graduated from Chicago College of Podiatric Medicine and went on to practice podiatry for 40 years in Kirkwood. He was an active member of his church and loved living independently at Meramec Bluffs serving in many capacities. He was an avid golfer, sailor and enjoyed water and snow skiing. Services: Memorial service at Community Christian Church, 623 Meramec Station Road, Manchester, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow. Interment prior to service at Valhalla Cemetery, 12:00 p.m. A service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

So sorry to hear, Dr Wunderlich was always a joy to work with when he came in to office. We enjoyed talking everything for medicine to golf. We will miss his visits.
