I can say 100% for sure that Daniel changed all of our lives in the Youth Ministry program, especially on the Luke 18 Retreat 2005. His spirit and love were the best gifts and memories of that weekend, and I will never forget him! SCL and all his acquaintances are so blessed to have an angel now protecting them!

Daniel was blessed to have such a loving family. He touched all of our hearts with courage and strength and always with a smile on his face. Matt, Kathy, and Lisa,
We are deeply saddened by Daniel's passing. He was an inspiration to us because he kept his faith in Jesus through the good and bad. We admired his strength and character as we watched him kneel at mass even when he was so weak. We have fond memories of taking swimming lessons with him, going to trout lodge, visiting him at Rankin Jordan, and being with him at SCL. We have prayed for him every night since he became ill. Daniel was a gift to us all and we will not soon forget how special he was. You are incredible people who have shown us how to accept what God has in store with Grace, Faith, Courage and Dignity. If there was one thing I will remember about Daniel, either before or after the cancer, is he nearly always had a smile on his face. After all he went through, he still knew how to make the best of his life, a life cut all too short. Matt & Kathy & Lisa you were all such wonderful caregivers, I have no doubt that Daniel will be smiling upon you for the rest of your lives.

To the Stark family, I am so sorry to hear of Dan passing. He was truly a gift to all. I remember when Dan had his make a wish and he was a animated cartoon character. That was awesome. I still have my heart that says keep Daniel in your heart. I have been sick for 7 or more years and I have had moments of doubt and grief. I am looking to Dan as a man of great faith and of great spirit. I will look to him as a example of life, love, hope and faith. God is so lucky to have him on his side now and we are lucky to have him as a guardian angel. Thank you Dan.
